Our engineering department wants to complement our services to offer the necessary advice on technical and legal issues to our customers to ensure that its facilities and maintenance is performed conform to current regulation and particular needs.

The engineering services we offer are for both existing air conditioning and refrigeration facilities, legalized or not, or new installation projects. Include among others:

  • Personalized advice on the necessary requirements to facilities
  • Legalization of existing facilities
  • Writing projects for new facilities
  • Processing of reforms and changes in existing facilities (including refrigerant replacement)
  • Construction management and registration of new facilities
  • Review of existing documentation (registration, facility book, installations instructions, drawings, project, safety poster, certifications)
  • Drafting of documents related to the facilities
  • Advice on the regulatory maintenance (maintenance, periodic reviews, inspections, leakage control,etc.) For further information

Legislation applicable to new facilities

  • Refrigeration facilities

    • The main effect regulations to these facilities are given by the Refrigeration Safety Regulation (RSIF), Royal Decree 138/2011 of 4 February.
    Together with Regulation (EC) 842/2006 on certain fluorinated greenhouse gases and Pressure Vessel Regulations, Royal Decree 2060/2008 of 12 December.

  • Thermal installations in buildings

    • The main effect regulations to these facilities are given by the Thermal installations in buildings Regulation (RITE), Royal Decree 1027/2007 of 20 July. 
    Together with Regulation (EC) 842/2006 on certain fluorinated greenhouse gases and Pressure Vessel Regulations, Royal Decree 2060/2008 of 12 December.
